AHMEDABAD The Association of Indian Americans in North America (AIANA) is organising a three-day World Gujarati Conference in New Jersey, US, aimed at reviving the spirit of Gujarat and familiarising the younger generation born and brought up in the US with the cultural and traditional values of Gujarat.

The association has invited Narendra Modi to address the meeting but is not sure whether the controversial Gujarat chief minister who had been denied visa by the US authorities would be able to visit New Jersey.

Several prominent Gujaratis have been extended invitation for the convention.

They include industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, technocrat Sam Pitroda, , film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Paresh Rawal, music composer Himesh Reshammiya, singers Pankaj Udhas, Falguni Pathak, Alka Yagnik and cricketer Irfan Pathan.

Genocide in Gujarat - The Sangh Parivar, Narendra Modi, and the Government of Gujarat

Final Solution Preview
Final Solution

Final Solution is a study of the politics of hate. Set in Gujarat during the period February/March 2002 - July 2003, the film examines the genocidal violence of the Hindutva right-wing by exploiting the Godhra train incident and then goes on to document the various acts of brutality that marked the violence that followed. It travels with the election campaign during the Assembly elections in Gujarat in late 2002, and documents the spread of hate and fascism that accompanied it.
