justice and accountability
for the Gujarat pogrom of 2002, will be holding a press a
conference at Capitol Hill, Washington DC to announce bipartisan
support from members of the US Congress to continue the ban on Gujarat
Chief Minister Narendra Modi's entry to the US.
Modi was Chief Minister of Gujarat
in 2002 when organized sectarian violence resulted in the killing of
2,000 people and the displacement of over 150,000. Modi has also
engaged in systematic persecution of religious minorities in Gujarat
during the last ten years.

Conference to release a letter signed by 25 Congresspersons, urging the
State Department to continue the ban on Narendra Modi.

Rep. Joe Pitts(R-PA), Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and several other
